A young family of 3 offers you to stay in a spacious, secure and modern 3 bedroom townhouse in a respectable inner city suburb. Your room is large (approx. 24 sqm in total) with TV and phone outlet, full ensuite, walk in wardrobe and private balcony. Their home is close to all amenities (grocery shops/cafes/takeaways/restaurants), 5 minutes away from Highpoint Shopping Centre (one of the largest shopping malls in Melbourne), close to Victoria Univ., Public Library and Maribyrnong Aquatic/Health Centre as well as Footscray Market. Bus & tram are available pretty much on their doorstep to take you to Footscray Railway Station (approx. 10 minutes bus/tram ride), only 2 stops away from Melbourne CBD.

Mum & Dad are full time professionals. Mum works for the State Government and Dad is a Training Facilitator (Business/Project Management Course) for a registered training organisation. He works with mainly overseas students (with English as their 2nd language) on a daily basis. They have a 8 year-old daughter who is friendly, outgoing and knows how to keep herself occupied. They keep 2 lazy pet dogs, who love to be around people. Although Mum is a native speaker in Bahasa, English is the only language of which they use to communicate at home.

They would welcome students from any country/nationality to their home. Kindly advise, however, that they would only be willing to provide this service for non-smokers of 18 years and older.

We provide you with a fully furnished bedroom with ensuite, twin-share (single room is available for $280/week), 3 meals a day, fully paid utility bills, wireless broadband internet connection (no music/film download) and local phone calls. You will be required to use your mobile phone or phone card for any international/mobile calls.
